Free Alltel Ringtones Available

Any free Alltel ringtones available? Alltel offers a pre-selected free ringtone. If you want to choose one from the catalog, you will have to pay. Most ringtones cost $.99 and are delivered to your handset in a series of text messages.

The thing that is really maddening is they charge you for the text messages. You will be charged $.08 for each text message in addition to the ringtone charge.

Check out the cell phone plans when you are on their website. They seem to have decent rates. Make sure to check the coverage area.

For those of you still looking for a cell phone plan, check out the “Greater Freedom” package. While not a national plan, it does have a big local calling area with unlimited free long distance. This cell phone plan is perfect for those people who don’t normally travel extensively in the United States. Rather, they stick close to home. After all, why pay for more coverage if you don’t need it? Again, most of the plans in the “Greater Freedom” package have unlimited night and weekend calling rights and include those mobile-to-mobile minutes too. Of course, there is a tiered charge depending on the amount of “anytime” minutes you wish to purchase. And most of them in this plan offer basic voice mail, caller ID and call waiting services.
