Features of the Pantech C300:

  • 2.5 oz
  • Tiny design, just 2.72×1.69x.76?
  • VGA camera
  • MP3 ring tones
  • GSM 850/900/1900 (Tri-Band)

Many people are complaining that the C300 is just too small.

from a Cnet editor’s review:

But when we finally got the C300 out of the box, we hardly could believe what we were seeing. This phone isn’t just small, it’s downright miniature. In fact, it’s so small, it’s almost a bit ridiculous, and you might mistake it for a child’s toy or a prop from the movie Zoolander.

A user on the Cingular message boards says:

It’s not for people with large hands…but it get great reception!

The Pantech C300 is available as a pre-paid handset for Cingular’s “Go Phone” branded service. This is a pre-paid phone service that does not require a service contract. They also now offer data access for customers that use the no-contract monthly service plans.
