Motorola Q Cingular Cellular Service Plan
Are you looking to upgrade your phone or pda and thinking about getting a Motorola Q? Cingular offers a wide variety of cellular service plans for its customers. But it’s not offering the Motorola Q. You will have to look elsewhere… try Verizon. I know that they are offering good deals on the Motorola Q.
There are other Cingular plans available.
The basic family cellular service plan is the most basic family service plan available costs $59.99 and provides 550 anytime minutes and unlimited night and weekend minutes. Mobile to mobile minutes, however, are unlimited with all Cingular service plans. Mobile to mobile minutes are those minutes used when talking to other people within your calling area who also have a Cingular cell plan. For the purpose of the cell plan, nights are defined as all the time between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am every day of the week.
There is a one time activation fee of $36 to start a Cingular cellular service plan. The rollover feature allows unused minutes from each month to “rollover” in order to be used later. Rollover minutes are good for up to 12 months for the month they originated. Since it is necessary to sign a contract in order to obtain your service plan, there is a termination fee if you decide to cancel the plan before its expiration date. Otherwise, the fee can be as $240. In addition, Cingular agents sometimes impose additional fees for early termination of a contract.
Perks Available for some plans and include a few free basic perks. Roadside assistance can be added for $2.99 and voice dial can be added for $4.99. Enhanced warranty protection can be added for $1.99 per month. Equipment insurance can also be added for $1.99 per month, and you can further enhance this by adding paying an additional $3.99 per month. You can also add complete equipment protection for $4.99 per month.
